Our Story
Our work is driven by a simple but powerful belief: great leadership begins within and productivity follows. Born in Cameroon and educated in Germany, where I earned an MSc in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA. My journey has always bridged cultures, disciplines, and perspectives. From early on, I was deeply curious about human behavior and how emotions shape decisions, relationships, and performance.
With more than 19 years of global leadership experience in the automotive industry, I worked with renowned Tier 1 organizations, including ZF, Tenneco, Hitachi Automotive, and Astemo, leading engineering and supplier development teams across China, India, Brazil, France, and Germany. Across continents and cultures, one truth became clear: the challenge leaders face is universal, unlocking the full potential of people to achieve sustainable productivity.
A pivotal moment in 2009 reshaped this journey when a mentor asked a defining question: “What if your work was your passion; the thing you do best, driven by purpose and fueled by passion?” That question led to years of reflection, learning, and growth, revealing the profound connection between identity, purpose, emotional intelligence, and performance. This realization transformed my leadership and the teams I lead today. Emotional intelligence proved to be the missing multiplier: when leaders understand themselves, communicate with clarity, and lead with empathy, performance is no longer forced it emerges naturally. Through Emotional Intelligence 4 Leaders (Ei4L), I have worked with leaders across South Korea, China, and Europe, including the leaders in my team at Astemo, helping them build trust, alignment, and a high-performing culture.
Ei4L exists to serve leaders, teams, and organizations. When emotional intelligence becomes a way of leading, productivity is no longer an aspiration; it becomes inevitable.
